An enchanting story about a little girl, a tree, the changing seasons and a new baby sibling. This was a timely read for us since my three year old son is now the proud big brother to a four month old baby sister. Liam also enjoys reading about nature and the different seasons as he just learned about how we transitioned from summer to fall.

The illustrations are inviting and my son loves to watch as the birds build their nest and then the bright blue robin eggs appear. He also enjoys watching the tree change as it goes through the year and the lessons Maple learns about playmates.

Another successful blind library choice. I can’t wait to read her next two books following Maple & her little sister.
