Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is for giving thanks cover

To get in the spirit of the upcoming holiday, I wanted to find a book that would begin teaching my three year old guy about gratitude and what it means to be thankful. Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks is the perfect story to explain this to a little one. Giving thanks for things like family, playing outside, hot chocolate and lollipops is right up Liam’s alley and really speaking his language!

This special book touching on all of a toddler’s favorite things will really connect the deeper meaning of Thanksgiving. We’ve read it every single night since it came in the mail courtesy of Amazon.

That’s not my Santa

That's not my Santa Cover

This board book is sure to get young readers excited about Christmas and Santa Claus while capturing their interest with the bright bold pictures and many textures to touch.

My son Liam loves to find the cute mouse on every page. And even though he is three years old now he still loves this littleĀ board book. Maggie, my baby girl who is five months, also loves it. It’s rare to find a book they both love at the same time.

Curduroy’s Best Halloween Ever!

Corduroy's Best Halloween Ever Cover

This is a great book to add to a fall collection. We like to read it in September and October to get excited about pumpkin patches, leaves, pies, parties, costumes and trick-or-treating. The illustrations are warm, fun and colorful. We go on the journey with Corduroy, Rabbit, Puppy and Mouse as they scout out their costumes for Halloween. Like many folks, Corduroy is having trouble deciding what to be for Halloween. There is a lovely message of friendship wrapped up in this seasonal story.
